11:00 AM EST. The issue for Hampton is their offense. They were lucky to score 70 on Charleston but that was an outlier game where they scored 32 points in the paint and somehow hung around long enough thanks to some inefficiency on Charleston’s offense. The Cougars’ offense is far from elite but their defense is one of the the most consistent in the country, ranked 15th in defensive momentum according to Haslametrics. This is an important game for them to finish out the season strong in the CAA Conference and while UNC Wilmington awaits on Sunday, we like them to ride their 3-game win streak to another margin-win on Thursday.
